Post-Passover Tour

On Friday, April 17, (the day after the 8th day of Passover), we will continue our Chinese adventure. Those who wish to remain over shabbat in the hotel or to spend shabbat in Shanghai before continuing on their own will be able to do so.

Those who choose to remain with the tour will fly to the city of Guilin where we will spend Shabbat with a full program of meals, prayers, and a walking tour. After Shabbat be prepared for a pleasant surprise.

The Li River, third longest in China

The Sun and Moon Pagodas in Guilin

On Sunday, April 19, we’ll cruise down the Li River (bring your cameras for some of the most spectacular pictures you will ever take!) and visit the town of Yangshuo - an amazing place for tourists and shoppers.

Fields of Rice, China’s main staple food

Elephant Trunk Park in Guilin

On Monday, April 20, we head to Xian, the capital of China‘s first Emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi, who united China in 221 BCE. Outside of this beautiful walled city, we’ll visit what is arguably the single most important man-made wonder of the ancient world - the Terra Cotta Army.

On Tuesday, April 21, we fly to Beijing. Over the next two days we’ll take in such unique sites as: the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City (Palace of the rulers of the Ming and Qing Dynasties), Tiananmen Square, the Olympic Village, the Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace.

On Thursday, April 23, we will bid you farewell, as you make your way home after an impression-filled vacation in this mysterious ancient, super-modern land!
