Relax and Chill by the Grill with Yehuda Green and Other Talented Entertainers
Enjoy an evening of food, fun and entertainment. Relax and "CHILL BY THE GRILL" on Thursday evening chol-hamoed for a picnic-perfect Southern and Western Style mouth watering BBQ extravaganza with our very own professional "Pit-Masters" followed by a combo style kumzits concert in a picturesque setting featuring non other than the most warming and inspirational singer in Jewish Music today - Yehuda Green and other talented entertainers. Just when you think, "hey, it's time to turn-in", think again, when you will be amazed with the signature "almost midnight" Chocoholic Buffet - an evening not to be missed!
While the world of Jewish music has become saturated with "Carlebach Style" performances and performers, none have captured the hearts and souls of audiences around the world with the soft spoken sweetness of Yehuda Green.
Like the legend who inspires him both personally and professionally, Yehuda's fan base is a "living lesson" in Jewish demography. The audiences at his sold out concerts are comprised of people from Westchester to Williamsburg. Attend a Yehuda Green concert and odds are that you'll find yourself sitting between a traditionally dressed resident of Skver on one side a clearly Mizrachi type from Englewood on the other and a "Uman yarmulkeh" clad lower East Side hipster behind you.
Regardless if it is an intimate kumzitz or a sold out concert, Yehuda's style evokes an emotionally response that few if any performers can match. So, come and enjoy an evening of entertainment with "the hottest ticket in town".
Srully Wulliger will be joining and entertaining us for the Entire Yom Tov
While Srully has released eleven solo albums in the past fifteen years, including the ever popular Carlebach Friday night series, he has actually been recording since his days as a star soloist for the Amudai Shaish Boys Choir at the young age of nine. Srully's childhood career also featured performances on three of the well known 613 Torah Avenue albums and a solo Yiddish children's album titled Kindervelt. While Srully was one of the top voices in Amudai Shaish Boys Choir, Yerachmiel Begun, the world famous director and composer of Miami Boys Choir asked Srully to contribute vocals for one of the songs on his Klal Yisroel Together album as well, singing the song The Gedolai Hador, which commemorated the passing of two great Jewish rabbinic leaders of our generation, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein and Rabbi Yaakov Kaminetzky.
Srully has performed in every major city in the United States and Canada as well as throughout Europe and Israel. His Carlebach style davening, which have been captured for posterity on two CDs, have brought Reb Shlomo's famous nusach to every major synagogue in the world. His soulful, angelic voice and exciting stage presence have enthralled audiences everywhere.
Shloime Dachs will be joining and entertaining us for the Entire Yom Tov
Shloime Dachs began his singing career at the tender age of six with Miami Boys Choir, Tzlil V'zemer and the Amudai Shaish Boys Choir.
Shloime exploded onto the Jewish music scene 20 years ago with a brilliant debut album "One Day At A Time." It became one of the fastest selling recordings by a new star in recent memory. Since then, his magical voice has entertained and dazzled thousands of listeners in concerts and weddings throughout the world. His second album "Acheinu" with Yossi Green, was released ten years ago and sold at a record breaking pace. His third album entitled "K'ish Echod" hit the stores in the summer of 2001 and is still flying off the shelves. Just when you thought he couldn't get any better, Shloime released his fourth album "Avinu." It features eleven songs and an unprecedented interactive video experience of Israel that can be viewed on your home computer. His fifth album, "Hashem Echod", is truly an inspiring and invigorating production. It features twelve songs from five different composers and four elite arrangers. Shloime also introduced his dear son, Dovid to the audience for the very first time with "Torah". Once again there is an interactive behind the scenes presentation, for your computer. Shloime's latest also features a beautiful duet with Israel's most popular singer, Chaim Yisrael. It's certainly not surprising that Shloime Dachs is one of today's most popular superstars in the Jewish music scene.
Finally the long awaited Shloime Dachs Orchestra was created seven years ago, due to the overwhelming success and response he received singing at Simchos. Since its inception, the Dachs band has performed at hundreds of Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Concerts and Dinners. "Dance All Night with The Shloime Dachs Orchestra" was released this past summer. We are pleased to welcome Shloime to our Program this year. |
