We're pleased to return to the beautiful Ocean Place Resort & Spa for Passover 2008. Our previous Passover vacation guests loved this destination and its convenient location, just 55 minutes from New York City. This "Gold Key Recipient" award winning hotel features an ocean view and private balcony with every room. Recently the property underwent multi-million dollar room renovations. Guests can pamper themselves in the European spa; stroll along two miles of boardwalk; enjoy a game of golf; dive into the sports and recreational facilities; play in the 150 - foot sandy beach directly in front of the resort; or spend the day exploring nearby Atlantic City, Six Flags Great Adventure, Sandy Hook and Gateway National Recreation area, Jackson Outlet Village or the Pier Village Shops adjacent to the hotel.
This Year the first Seder night is on Motzei Shabbat (Saturday night). The program will begin on Friday afternoon April 18 and continue until Monday April 28. Options are available for partial stays.

Guest Rooms & Suites
Every room features an ocean view and private balcony. In addition, each room is equipped with cable television, direct-dial telephones featuring data ports for Internet connectivity with access to public and private networks, and individual climate control. Non-smoking guest rooms available. |
The Spa
The all inclusive Ocean Place Resort & Spa offers the finest in skin and body care treatments with a wide range of services. The European style spa services relax the body, refresh the mind and renew the spirit. The daily spa fees are waived for this Passover Program's guests, this includes access to whirlpools, steam room, sauna, private lockers, heated pool, and fitness facility. Additional spa services include facials, exfoliating treatments, massages, hydrotherapy, body masks and wraps, and treatment enhancements. Fitness Center
The Fitness Center features the computerized PreCor workout circuit, treadmills, lifecycles, stair steppers and a complete array of Cybex weight training equipment. Extended fitness hours will include scheduled times for separate men's and women's hours.
The indoor Aquatics Center is adjacent to the Fitness Center and features a heated pool and nearby indoor whirlpool. Hours will be available for men's, women's and family swims. |

Outdoor & Nearby Activities
Guests can enjoy a brisk walk or bicycle ride on a two-mile long, ocean side boardwalk or sink their toes in to the 150-foot-wide beach directly in front of the resort. Nearby activities include:

Gourmet Passover Cuisine
Jerry Abramson, along with his culinary team, work directly with the resort chefs in menu planning. Jerry’s experience spans over twenty one years in Passover resorts and twenty two years in kosher catering. Whether Orlando Renaissance Resort at Sea World or Ocean Place, the master chefs from each resort are unsurpassed in their culinary expertise.
The gourmet cuisine serves ONLY Chasidisha Shechita, Glatt kosher, Cholov Yisroel, and Shmura Matza. Gebrokts and non-gebrokts are served to accommodate all needs. Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables are served at every meal. This is the ONLY Passover program serving aged prime beef, the same choice cuts served at the finest kosher steak-houses and best kosher New York restaurants.
Guests waken each day to a sumptuous breakfast buffet filled with a luscious array of hot and cold entrees. During chol hamoed and Yom Tov, culinary staff prepares omelets made to order in the dining room. A typical breakfast menu might offer:
matza brei, freshly flown-in smoked fish, blintz soufflé, Eggs Florentine, Potatoes O’Brien, cheesecake, fresh muffins, fresh fruit & yoghurt bar, in addition to the omelets made to order.
Shabbat and Yom Tov lunches offer fleshig and parve entrees. Chol hamoed dairy lunches are served buffet style. Pizzas and milk shakes made to order have been popular with the entire family. Either fleshig or parve box lunches are available during chol hamoed. Typical lunch menus might include:
rainbow trout with avocado moussiline, lasagna, eggplant moussaka, stuffed portabella mushrooms, potato soufflé, frittatas, elaborate fresh fruit & salad bar.
All dinners are fleshig but offer vegetarian and fish entrees. Lakeside BBQ’s become a special event for great family food and fun. Jerry’s “Potato Bar” is a big hit with the crowd. The finest wines and liqueurs from around the world are always served. Sample dinner menus might include:
chopped liver appetizer, seven onion soup, breast of duckling with Montmorency cherry, veal with sautéed wild mushrooms, baby Cornish hen with quinoa stuffing and Turkish apricot sauce, tiramisu, baked Alaska. For Shabbat traditional dishes are added like kishke, cholent and kugels.
The children’s dining room is open before each Yom Tov and Shabbat. Popular kid-friendly menus are offered. Dinner might include hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, fried chicken, fresh fruit and vegetables, and several desserts.
Each resort offers its own tea room lavishly stocked with healthy snacks, fruits, frozen delicacies, and sweets. Hot and cold beverages are available. It’s the perfect stop during the day or night to get caught up or meet new friends.
We make every effort for special dietary requests such as vegetarian, diabetic, low sodium and non-gluten. Please let us know ahead of time how we can meet your needs. Birthday and anniversary cakes are available too. |
