Itinerary
Day 1, Sunday - Arrival Calgary
Leave New York for Calgary. You will be met by a local guide and escorted to the hotel.
Overnight in Calgary.
Day 2, Monday - Calgary, Lake Louise
After Breakfast we will enjoy a morning tour of Calgary, passing the main sites including; Calgary Tower, Stampede Park (where the annual rodeo is held) and the downtown business district. Optional activities include: Calgary Tower, Glenbow Museum, Heritage Park and/or Olympic Park. We will then depart for Lake Louise, travelling via the Kananaskis Region. Upon arrival at beautiful Lake Louise, enjoy the spectacular view across the lake of the Victoria Glacier.
Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 3, Tuesday - Lake Louise Area
Enjoy a morning drive into the Valley of the Ten Peaks where you will see Moraine Lake. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to explore the area.

Day 4, Wednesday - Lake Louise, Jasper
We depart on a morning drive along the Ice fields Parkway, one of the world's most beautiful highways, passing some of Canada's highest mountains and most magnificent glaciers. We will stop at Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier and Peyto Lake before reaching the Columbia Ice field, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle. Enjoy a ride on the Ice Explorer onto Athabasca Glacier. Continue to Jasper via Athabasca Falls and Sunwapta Falls.

Day 5, Thursday - Jasper
Today we will enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Jasper National Park. Highlights include Lac Beauvert, Pyramid & Patricia Lakes. Next we follow the Maligne River Valley to Maligne Lake and stop for a walk in beautiful Maligne Canyon and to observe the ever changing water level of strange Medicine Lake. After we will enjoy a cruise on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island. After the cruise we will return to Jasper for time at leisure or optional Jasper Tramway.

Day 6, Friday - Jasper, Sun Peaks
Today we will cross the Yellowhead Pass heading west and passing Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Our drive will take us, via Valemount. This is the end of the 1300 km journey for salmon, who migrate up the Fraser River, and south west to Clearwater and the beautiful Wells Gray Park. We will then see Spahat , Dawson, and Helmcken Falls. After we will return to the Hotel to prepare for Shabbos.
Following Shabbos services we will have Shabbos dinner.

Day 7, Shabbat - Sun Peaks Resort
Following Shabbos services and lunch we will have a walking tour of the area.

Day 8, Sunday - Sunpeaks, Banff
Today we will travel south via Kamloops, the heart of the Thompson-Okanagan region. This is a geographically diverse region with mountain peaks, rolling grasslands, sage brush covered hills and beautiful valleys. We then continue east, travelling past Shuswap Lakes, Salmon Arm and Revelstoke, before reaching Glacier National Park. . We then continue on to Rogers Pass with it's tunnels, glistening glaciers, and snow capped mountains. We will cross over the Continental Divide, were we will view the unique Spiral Tunnels in Yoho National Park,then we will go on to the beautiful Emerald Lake, and the natural bridge of stone across Kicking Horse Pass. WE will then continue on to Banff.
Overnight in Banff.
Day 9, Monday - Banff National Park
We will start our day with a morning tour of the town of Banff and continue with a viewing tour of the Bow River Falls the on to the Tunnel Mountain Drive, with the wind eroded hoodoos, and Surprise Corner. We will then enjoy a ride up the Sulphur Mountain Gondola for a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Followed by an afternoon exploring the area around Banff including Lake Minnewanka and Two Jacks.
Overnight in Banff.
Day 10, Tuesday - Banff, Calgary
Spend a morning at leisure in Banff: enjoy the great shopping or take an optional visit to the Cave & Basin National Historic Site or go for an enjoying dip in the natural Upper Hot Springs. We will depart Banff and travel back to Calgary. When we arrive back in Calgary enjoy some leisure time for last minute shopping.
Overnight in Calgary.
Day 11, Wednesday - Calgary, New York
Calgary Departure
Transfer to Calgary Airport for your flight home.
